What do we do?
One of the main fields of the activity of DWZ® is health care management and economics. We offer system analyses that serve to prepare strategic plans for the market regulators (e.g. Ministry of Economy) or for the biggest market players, such as large insurance companies (e.g. ). We also assist smaller institutions - health care units (e.g. ) or enterprises. Furthermore, we have a great experience in the organization of conferences and congresses on health care economics.
In the process of our projects, we base on our teamwork, as well as we closely cooperate with the circle of the outstanding experts in our country, inclusive of the Ministry of Health, Warsaw University, Warsaw School of Economics, Academy of Economics in Katowice, Jagiellonian University, Silesian Medical Academy in Katowice, Leon Koˇmiński Higher School of Enterpreneurship and Management, National Trade Union of Doctors and many other professional institutions and organizations. We also cooperate with experts in health care economics and management in a large number of countries.
In case of some projects, we cooperate with other well - known companies, e.g. we have had an honour to cooperate with McKinsey & Company Poland sp. z o.o.
Among projects completed by DWZ®, we would like to draw your special attention to the project from 2002 on the re-reform of the Polish health care system, known in the environment as the “DWZ® project”.
In 2003, two representatives of DWZ® sat on expert committee, appointed by the Vice - Prime Minister Jerzy Hausner, that worked out the report for the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Social Policy entitled “Increase of the private health insurance role in health care financing in Poland”.
